A listing of Books that call themselves scripture, though I would urge much caution in calling them such. In fact, if you choose to read these books, be sure to pray often to our Heavenly Father that He might give you much wisdom (James 1:5-6) and that you might have the Holy Spirit to tell you "... the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:4)
There are many editions of the Book of Mormon, from the 1830 edition to the RLDS version and even ones in Modern English. I am going to link them here and you can decide for yourself which, if any, you believe to be the best possible version for your study.
The Stick of Joseph, while sponsored by the Snufferite community, has had a profound impact on Rabbi Raphael - the turning of the Book of Mormon back to the more Jewish Meanings and Roots helps, in many ways, enlighten the scriptures found within. Because of this, we are working on an LDS BoM to SoJ crosswalk to be able to easily find verses in this version with standard Utah LDS versification. As progress is made, we will post them here.
Recently we have come across another interesting source of "Scripture" that is being maintained, and contains the writings and scriptures from the "The Restored Branch of Jesus Christ," "The Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship," and "The Church of the New Covenant in Christ." Each of these groups appear to believe that they are Restorationist groups, they use the Book of Mormon and other Latter-day Saint materials - while we cannot say that they are or are not true followers, the fact that they are attempting to create and maintain a library of materials is very important. The library appears to be hosted by "The Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship." Please click the image to be taken to this library (or click here).
I am sure there are as many versions of the Book of Mormon as there are Restoration Groups, and that is a lot... If you know of one you think should be included, drop us a line at:
Here again, I am going to urge our readers to use extreme caution and not just accept any of these works as "Scripture." They are included here as Apocryphal Resources that may or may not have any true value to the reader.
"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." (Matthew 24:11)
Christopher Marc Nemelka (Author), claims that an angel of the Lord brought him the Sealed portion of the plates to translate.
This book is a personal favorite of Rabbi Raphael. One of his favorite passages says:
"Always remember, that no man is greater than He, our Christ Jesus, and no man hath abilities greater than He, therefore, my children, only lift another up above thee in the thought of service and rendering unto thine brother or sister of thine service;" - Odiniahel 4:9
Currently out of Print, looking for a good resource to get this out to the public again.
